What payment methods do you support?

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Yes — full refund within 7 days of purchase if your event hasn't really started (fewer than 5 guests joined, fewer than 5 photos uploaded, and the event date is still upcoming). Past those points the album is in use and we can't refund. Email info@snapalbum.io with your order number to request one. Full terms in our Terms of Service.

Do guests need to download an app?

Not at all. They scan the QR code and upload from the browser.

Do guests need to sign up?

Accepted Answer

No. They just enter their name and start uploading.

Can guests upload videos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Classic and Premium plans support video messages (up to 500 MB each).

How do I set up Live Slideshow?

Log into your dashboard, open the Slideshow link, plug your laptop into the venue screen via HDMI. Done.

What if I exceed my storage cap?

Upgrade your plan any time, or purchase additional storage capacity.

Will my photos be deleted after the event?

You can download everything any time before your storage window ends. After that they're removed per our privacy policy.

Is SnapAlbum GDPR-compliant?

Yes. We process personal data under the GDPR's lawful bases (mainly contract performance and legitimate interests), give you the full set of data-subject rights, and keep our infrastructure in regions covered by Standard Contractual Clauses for any cross-border transfer. See Section 10 of our Privacy Policy for the detailed notice.

How do I exercise my GDPR rights or delete my data?

Email info@snapalbum.io from the address on your account. You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to a specific use. We verify your identity first and respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests, as the GDPR allows).

Does SnapAlbum use cookies?

Accepted Answer

We use a small set of essential cookies to keep you signed in and the site working, plus optional analytics and marketing cookies that only fire if you accept them. The cookie banner on first visit lets you accept all or open Customize to choose per-category — leave both optional categories unticked and tap Save to keep only essentials.

How do I change my cookie preferences later?

Clear the SnapAlbum cookie consent entry in your browser's site data and reload — the banner reappears and you can pick again. We'll be adding an in-product preferences page so you can toggle categories without clearing storage.

Question 14

Will I receive marketing emails?

Accepted Answer

Only if you ticked the marketing box at signup or turned it on later in your account settings — it's off by default. Transactional emails (order receipts, password resets, processing notifications) are sent regardless because they're tied to using the service. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Question 15

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

On AWS in Asia-Pacific (Singapore region). Photos and videos are encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. When data has to leave the EEA, UK, or Switzerland we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK IDTA where applicable) — see the international transfers section of the Privacy Policy.
