1. Introduction

1.1 About SnapAlbum

SnapAlbum is an online photo album service owned and operated by Snapfind Technology Limited ("we", "us"), designed to make instant photo upload and sharing easy.

1.2 Scope

These Terms of Service apply to all users of SnapAlbum, including but not limited to uploading, viewing, and sharing photos.

1.3 Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website and take effect immediately. Please check back regularly for the latest version.

2. Account registration

2.1 Creating an account

To use SnapAlbum's full functionality you must create an account. When registering, you must provide accurate and complete personal information including, but not limited to, your name, email address, and contact phone number.

2.2 Account security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account information, including your password. Do not share your account credentials. We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by unauthorised use of your account.

2.3 Account use

You agree to use your account only for lawful purposes and not to engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity. You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.4 Termination

If you breach these Terms of Service or engage in misconduct, we may suspend or terminate your account at any time without prior notice.

3. Use of the service

3.1 Purchasing a QR code

You may purchase your own QR code through our website. Once purchased, the QR code will link to your dedicated online album.

3.2 Sharing the QR code

You may place printed QR-code cards at various locations during your event — at the entrance, on tables, or anywhere visible. Guests can simply scan the QR code with their smartphone to upload photos.

3.3 Photo upload

Guests can upload photos to your album by scanning the QR code. You are responsible for ensuring all uploaded content complies with these Terms of Service.

3.4 Prohibited content

You agree not to use SnapAlbum to upload any of the following content:

Illegal, obscene, defamatory content, or content that infringes the privacy or other rights of others
Content containing viruses, malware, or anything that could harm the system
Photos or content uploaded without the consent of the people depicted

3.5 Content moderation

We reserve the right to review and remove any content that violates these Terms of Service or is otherwise inappropriate, without prior notice.

3.6 Refunds

We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the event has not yet been put to real use — that means fewer than 5 guests have joined, fewer than 5 photos or videos have been uploaded, and the event date is still in the future. Past any of these points the album is in use and we cannot refund. To request a refund, email info@snapalbum.io from the address on your account with your order number. Refunds outside this window are at our discretion and are not guaranteed. Physical QR-code cards become non-refundable once sent to print.

4. Photo management

4.1 User responsibility

You are fully responsible for all content uploaded to your SnapAlbum album. We are not responsible for any user-uploaded content.

4.2 Photo ownership

Uploaded photos remain the property of the original uploader. You authorise us to display, distribute, and use those photos on the SnapAlbum platform.

4.3 Review and removal

We reserve the right to review and remove content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate, at any time. We are not liable for any loss arising from such removal.

4.4 Backup and storage

We recommend that you back up important photos. While we take reasonable measures to protect and store your photos, we are not responsible for data loss caused by technical failure, unauthorised access, or other causes.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 SnapAlbum IP

SnapAlbum and all related logos, designs, graphics, and other intellectual property are owned by Snapfind Technology Limited. You may not use, copy, modify, or distribute these assets without authorisation.

5.2 User licence

You grant us a licence to display, distribute, and use the photos you upload on the SnapAlbum platform. You warrant that you have all necessary rights and authorisations to upload the photos and that doing so will not infringe any third-party rights.

5.3 Prohibited acts

You agree not to reverse-engineer, modify, resell, or create derivative works from SnapAlbum. Any unauthorised use may result in legal action.

6. Privacy

6.1 Privacy protection

We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data. All collected information is processed and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6.2 Data collection and use

We may collect and use your personal data to provide and improve our services. This includes, but is not limited to, your registration details, usage data, and uploaded photos.

6.3 Data sharing

We will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or where necessary to provide the service.

6.4 Security measures

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, modification, or deletion. However, data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of the information you upload.

7. Service changes

7.1 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the SnapAlbum service at any time without prior notice. Modifications may include, but are not limited to, feature updates, service adjustments, or termination.

7.2 Discontinuation

We are not responsible for any loss arising from changes to or discontinuation of the service. We recommend that you back up your photos and data regularly.

7.3 Notification

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any material changes via email or by posting an announcement on the website.

8. Disclaimer

8.1 "As is" service

The SnapAlbum service is provided "as is". We make no warranties as to its fitness, reliability, availability, or security. You use the service at your own risk.

8.2 Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the SnapAlbum service. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption.

8.3 Third-party links

SnapAlbum may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those third parties.

9. Governing law

9.1 Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the courts of the Hong Kong SAR for resolution.

9.2 Dispute resolution

Any dispute should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If that is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be submitted to the courts of the Hong Kong SAR.
